HP Power Supply Failure.

I have run across many people with HP desktop pc's that have had power supply failures. The situation may exist because they are just so large a producer and have that many machines to fail or are the units just cheap. Well I have been investigating the failure rates and find it just a normal occurrence for a power supply to last just a few years at best and the more power you ask for from a smaller enclosure makes cooling more difficult. My test surrounded the HP power supply for slimlines HP part number 5188-7520 or the same part
made by Delta the DPS-160QB-A or the AcBel PC6012. I found there are even upgrades available for these. I found a guy in Satellite Beach, Fl that has all these OEM power supplies and seems to be the only one that has the real ones in stock. Check out http://allpcpower.com/hp5188-7520actualoemreplacementpull.aspx - listed also are recommended upgrades. They are also very helpful.
The guy there Paul also agreed with me that proper cooling is the key to longevity...The fan screen tends to get covered/blocked by dust and starts the failure process.
Any one else with any info please post -
